I like Anthony Weiner and would vote for him if I lived in New York. He has wit, ideas and smarts and those qualities are in short supply in Congress. The fact that he flirted around on the Internet doesn’t bother me – he never met any of these women and didn’t cheat on his wife. All humans are attracted to people other than their spouses or significant others but, of course, it is okay to look but not to touch.
What bothers me about the Weiner is that he seems to lie easily. He even advised one of his beautiful sendees to lie if asked about his missives. This is a New York City trait I never liked when I lived there for fifteen years, and still don’t.
